Western Esotericism in Literature from the 12th-18th Centuries
Papers in this panel will explore the intersection of western esotericism in les belles lettres from the 12th-18th centuries. Submissions may address philosophy and other aspects of intellectual thought and history inherent to the topic, however, the primary focus should be on the representation of esoteric thought and symbolism in literature.
Western Esotericism and Occultism in Literature and Film from the 19th-21st Centuries
Papers in this panel will explore the intersection of western esotericism and occultism in les belles lettres and film from the 19th-21st centuries. Submissions may address philosophy and other aspects of intellectual thought and history inherent to the topic, however, the primary focus should be on the representation of esoteric/occultist thought and symbolism in literature and film.
