The Jewish Cultural Studies Discussion Group of the Modern Language Association is seeking papers for the following session at the MLA's annual conference in Chicago, IL, December 27-30, 2007.

"Reevaluating Jewish Stereotypes": Jews have long been the target of antisemitic stereotyping. What is the status of such stereotypes in the 21st century and in relation to the "new" antisemitism? Have new stereotypes emerged? Have old ones disappeared? How have Jews themselves appropriated or engaged such stereotypes?
