Seeking one session participant and a chair/discussant for a proposed panel on "Gender, Power and the Inquisition" for the 2008 AHA meeting in Washington, D.C. (January 3-6). The panel proposes to address the issues of power, gender, and inquisition in a comparative perspective, which can include chronological (medieval/early modern/modern) and/or geographical considerations.
If you would like to either give a paper or serve as a discussant/chair for the proposed session, please e-mail your interest to jwickersham@ou.edu by February 12, 2007. Completed session proposals, including all paperwork, are due at the AHA by Feb. 15.
