I am a fifth year graduate student looking for fellow scholars working on the history of law and order, state formation, the police, and/or the working class in Brazil and Latin America broadly to form a panel and present at the AHA in 2008. My own work looks at Social Mobility and Policing in Brazil in the twentieth century.
Since time is running out, I am mostly looking to be part of panel on these issues and not form a new one.
Anyone interested in welcoming my work in their panel can contact me at this email address; if anyone else would like to form a panel with me around those issues, please be sure to send me an email as well.
Regards,
Martine Jean
