Panel Participants Requested for 2008 AHA Meeting

Call for presenters or commentators interested in being part of an AHA panel at the 2008 conference. Panel title is "Preservation, Commemoration and Public Memory." Papers drawn from scholarly research or public history projects involving historic preservation, public memorials or community history projects are welcome. Papers should deal with some aspect of community or government recognition or commemoration of history in a public setting. Papers that explore historical absences in formal historical commemoration programs are also welcome. Please send 100-200 page abstract by January 31st, 2007. Please email any questions regarding session.
