Seaport Book Club
This month: Black Jacks by W. Jeffrey Bolster.
Make new friends and participate in lively discussion at our new Seaport Book Club. On the second Thursday of each month we explore a different book related to the history of the Port of New York or the Maritime Atlantic. A museum educator will be on hand to get the conversation started – but the discussion will ultimately be led by your own reactions to what you’ve read! This month we honor African American History Month with W. Jeffrey Bolster’s history of African American sailors. $5 suggested donation. 213 Water Street. Space is limited so we ask that you please RSVP. To reserve, please call 212-748-8568 or email lshope@southstseaport.org.
