The AMERICAN HUMOR PANEL of the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association seeks abstracts for papers to be presented at the annual meeting to be held at the Westin Calgary Hilton in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, October 4-6, 2007. Please submit a 300-word abstract to Dr. Judy Sneller at Judy.Sneller@sdsmt.edu no later than March 1, 2007. A wide variety of topics is desired, including papers on a particular humorist, theoretical approaches in analyzing humor, or pedagoical issues involved in teaching humor courses. Those submitting abstracts will be advised of the status of their proposal no later than March 15, 2007.
