CFP: The Society for the Study of Early Modern Women will co-sponsor a session at the annual meeting of the American Historical Association, Jan. 3-6, 2008, in Washington D.C.
We invite interested presenters and commentators to participate in a
session on "Women and Finance". This panel will be an interdisciplinary
exploration of women in the early modern period (1450-1750) who functioned
as property holders, financiers, money lenders, estate managers, and
business persons.
