THE JOINT JOURNALISM HISTORIANS CONFERENCE, SATURDAY, MARCH 24, 2007 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Kimball Hall, New York University, 246 Greene Street, New York, NY
You are invited to submit complete papers or abstracts (500 to 750 words), research in progress and proposals for panels for presentation at the Joint Journalism Historians Conference—the American Journalism Historians Association and the AEJMC History Division joint spring meeting to be held at New York University on March 24. We are particularly interested in innovative research and ideas that will enliven this intimate, interdisciplinary, interesting academic gathering. We welcome submissions from all areas of journalism and communication history from all time periods and encourage scholars from all academic disciplines and stages of their academic careers to participate. Abstracts should contain a compelling rationale why the research is of interest to an interdisciplinary community of scholars. (Electronic submissions only) to Elliot King eking@loyola.edu
