2007 James A. Barnes Club Conference Announcement
The James A. Barnes Club, Temple University’s graduate student history organization, is pleased to announce the Twelfth Annual James A. Barnes Club Graduate Student Conference. The Barnes Club Conference will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Temple University’s Center City campus, 1515 Market Street in downtown Philadelphia.
The primary goal of the conference is to provide an opportunity for graduate students from any field of history to come together in an academic and professional setting. There will not be a particular theme, and historical research from a variety of fields within the historical discipline will be presented by graduate students from all over the U.S.
The registration fee is $20 for presenters and attendees who register by March 15, 2007. A continental breakfast, lunch, and post-conference reception are included. The registration fee for anyone wishing to register after the deadline or on the day of the event will be $25. To register in advance, please send a $20 check payable to the James A.
