The Early Modern section of the German Studies Association Program Committee would like to solicit papers and complete panels for a series of sessions on “Science, Medicine, and Technology.” We encourage the submission of papers from all aspects of these fields, whether cultural, social, intellectual, or political, or more purely scientific or technical. We are also especially interested in papers that cross disciplinary and geographical boundaries (for example, into the Dutch or Flemish regions). While most panels have three papers, a moderator, and a commentator, we also welcome Roundtable submissions or other configurations. The 2007 GSA will be meeting in San Diego from 4-7 October 2007. Panels or individual papers can be submitted electronically to the GSA website at: http://www.thegsa.org. Deadline for submisssion is 15 February 2007.
