Ninth Edition
Eras is an on-line journal edited and produced by postgraduate students from the School of Historical Studies at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Papers published by Eras are accepted from the following disciplines: History, Archaeology and Ancient History, Religion and Theology and Jewish Civilisation. Papers are also strongly encouraged from students from other disciplines, such as Cultural Studies, Indigenous Studies, Gender Studies, Philosophy, Sociology and Politics. However such manuscripts need to be relevant to the discipline of history and the above mentioned disciplines.
Eras is a fully refereed journal, which is intended as an international forum for current or recently completed Masters and PhD students to publish original research, comment and reviews in any field covered by the School's teaching and research. We are seeking papers from postgraduate students working in any of the fields listed above, along with a brief description of your current affiliation and thesis topic.
Papers of 5000 words are required by 31st May 2007. Detailed notes and editorial guidelines for individual contributors are available on our web site (listed below). The eighth edition is online now, and the ninth edition will appear in November 2007.
