The International Journal of Regional and Local Studies (IJORALS) is published twice a year and welcomes the submission of articles, review articles and book reviews.

The aim of the journal is to publish material from history, geography, sociology and urban studies with an emphasis on the regional and/or local.

Articles: 4,000 to 8,000 words Review Articles: 2,000 to 3,000 words Book Reviews: c.500 to 1000 words
