IMEHA2008,the 5th International Congress of Maritime History, 23 June to 27 June 2008. will be hosted by the Greenwich Maritime Institute in the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, UK. The Congress aim is to promote and disseminate research into all aspects of the maritime dimension, with an emphasis on the international and trans-national character of maritime history. Proposals for papers invited on a wide range of research areas, from classical times to the present, reflecting the role of the surface of the sea, the undersea domaine, the coastal zone and as a cultural resource.
