K-12 Teachers can join archeologists, historians, and other educators from across the U.S. for a weeklong workshop exploring Spanish St. Augustine, Florida. This NEH "Landmarks of American History and Culture" workshop is titled Between Columbus and Jamestown: Spanish St. Augustine and will be conducted by the Florida Humanities Council in June of 2006. Accepted educators receive a stipend to cover the costs of food, lodging, and travel.
