I am currently soliciting proposals for contributions to a collection of essays on domestic violence—physical, emotional, sexual—during the long eighteenth century. Interdisciplinary treatments are especially encouraged, as are examinations of domestic violence in all countries and cultures during the long eighteenth century. The deadline for proposals is 15 February 2007; please send one-page proposals, along with brief cvs to Judith Broome at broomej1@wpunj.edu . Electronic submissions preferred.
The deadline for completed essays of 6000-8000 words, including notes, is 31 May 2007.
