The Oxford University World History Graduate Workshop is seeking papers from postgraduate students on the theme of 'New Approaches to Sources in World History' for our one-day workshop to be held at the Modern History Faculty Building on the 7th of March 2007.
As history is increasingly being investigated and presented from new perspectives, historians are increasingly using sources and evidence in innovative and unique ways. The aim of our panel is to look at methods to find new and untapped sources, to share new sources that have been discovered, to discuss new ways to examine and analyse sources (both new and traditional), and to look over our findings. Our theme is a broad one and we welcome submissions from anyone who might have something of interest.
Papers should be 20-25 minutes long. A small amount of funding may be available. Workshop will be held
