Modern Mask, a new online quarterly arts journal, is seeking submissions of articles, reviews, and interviews for the Film & TV section of its upcoming issue. Modern Mask consists of five sections: Art & Photography, Film & TV, Literature, Music, and Theatre, each devoted to the insightful examination of its particular field. Each section of the journal consists of one or two featured articles (3,000 words), then several reviews and/or interviews (1,000 words each). Started by New York University Theatre Studies professor Dr. Michael Bolus, Modern Mask’s goal is to cultivate the highest of critical standards while maintaining an attractive, reader-friendly style designed to appeal to a wide readership. As an example of this, the content of our current issue ranges from adaptations of French Opera, to site specific theater in Belfast, to sexuality in the film Snakes on a Plane.
