The History Graduate Student Association of Virginia Tech would like to announce a call for papers from graduate and distinguished undergraduate students for the Tenth Annual Brian Bertoti 'Innovative Perspectives' History Conference to be held in Blacksburg, Virginia, March 16 - 17, 2007.
This conference is intended to give young historians the opportunity to present original research in an environment that will expand historical knowledge in a friendly yet scholarly atmosphere.
Presenters are asked to submit a one page abstract and brief vita to Anne Greenwood at firstname.lastname@example.org by January 15, 2007. Submissions from all fields of history are encouraged. Prizes will be awarded to top papers in the fields of Civil War history, Area Studies, and Best Overall paper.
