Presenters are encouraged to contemplate issues on topics related to questions of identity, patriotism, nationalism and transnationalisms with an emphasis on the “Early Modern World.” We are interested in not only the literature and drama but other visual and material culture as well as cultural activities, institutions and technology from this era. Also encouraged are interests in the Counter-Reformation movements from other nations (i.e. Spanish Theatre and literature) before 1700.
Inquiries regarding this area and/or abstracts of 250 words may be sent to the email or physical address below by November 10, 2006. Please include a brief biographical paragraph (100 words or less) and a working bibliography for your paper.
