The U.S. Army's Combined Arms Center is soliciting 3,500-4,500 word essays for its 2007 General DePuy writing contest. THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO EVERYONE, WORLDWIDE. Deadline: 1 April 2007. Papers must address some aspect of "Stabilization and Reconstruction Operations during an Insurgency." $1,000 1st prize, $750 for 2d, $500 for 3d, $250 for 4th.
