We are pleased to announce the following call for papers for the Social History Society Annual Conference 2007 to be held from 30 March - 1 April at the University of Exeter, UK
The Social History Society are particularly keen to encourage submissions from post-graduate students.
The deadline for proposals is 16th October
This year the Society is calling for papers on one of six thematic strands: 'Deviance, Inclusion and Exclusion', 'Life-cycles and Life-styles', 'Production and Consumption', 'Representation, Memory and the Self', 'Spaces and Places' and a new strand called 'Theory and Practice of Cultural and Social History'. Papers given at the Conference can be considered for publication in the Society’s journal Cultural and Social History.
