ENCYCLOPEDIA OF PROTEST AND REVOLUTION IN WORLD HISTORY - FINAL CALL
The Editors of the Encyclopedia of Protest and Revolution in World History invite contributions for this five-volume compilation of historical essays about protests, revolts, and revolutions in all countries and regions over the past 500 years. Essays will range from 1,000 to 25,000 words depending on topic.
Country essays should provide an analytical framework for understanding the progression of protests and revolution within specific countries or region, narratives on sequence of protests and/or revolutions, participants, including, class, race, gender, and ethnicity among others; the economic, political, and social context of the uprising; evaluation of the impact of the uprising or social transformation on the country and its people We especially are seeking thematic, country, and regional essays from all regions of the world, especially Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe, and welcome all inquiries.
Under contract by Facts on File Publishers, the work is explicitly targeted to academics, scholars, and students.
