Fur Trade and Metis Call for Papers, Canadian Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences Congress (CFHSS), Saskatoon, May 28, 2007
Researchers of Métis and fur trade history, as well as borderland studies,
are invited to submit proposals for a full day of sessions to be held on
May 28th during the CFHSS Congress. This special day will be jointly sponsored
by the Canadian Historical Association (CHA) and the Canadian Indigenous
and Native Studies Association (CINSA).
Drs. Brenda Macdougall, Carolyn Podruchny, and Nicole St.-Onge will will help people organize panels and submit these to the program committees of the CHA and CINSA. Please send your submissions to them by OCTOBER 20, 2006 so that they will have enough time to meet the society deadlines.
