75,000 words each; manuscript deadline of 12-18 months from contract signing

Each book will begin with an introduction of the current debate. Narrative chapters will follow, organized topically and focusing on the major issues in the historical and contemporary development of the debate from its beginning to the present. Each chapter will discuss the pro and con arguments associated with the issue.

Authors will be responsible for preparing and including a reference section containing a timeline of events, an annotated bibliography of books and electronic resources on the issue, any additional appendixes agreed upon by Author and Publisher, and a subject index to be prepared at the page-proof stage of production.

Authors must have Ph.D. and/or be independent scholars who are subject specialists and proven producers of pertinent publications. Co-authoring is fine. Please send current C.V. and relative writing sample. Replies only to qualified candidates.
