South Africa today: Francis Wilson, University of Cape Town distinguished professor, noted anti-apartheid leader, and author of works on poverty and liberation struggles will speak Wednesday, October 4, at 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the Harrison Institute/Small Special Collections Library of the University of Virginia. His address—“Half Way There: The Long Walk to Freedom and Economic Justice in South Africa”—is under the sponsorship of the departments of History and Economics and the Woodson Institute.
