REMINDER NOTICE
In memory of the 50th anniversary of the events of 1956, Critique: A Journal of Socialist Theory will be publishing a special edition dedicated to the 1950s and its consequences. Critique is an independent, peer reviewed, scholarly journal founded in 1973. We are looking for high quality scholarly articles on or surrounding, but not limited to the following topics:
• Khrushchev’s secret speech
• Chinese reaction to the secret speech
• 1956 Hungarian Revolution
• Effect of Soviet intervention on East Europe
• Reaction of the Western Left to Soviet Intervention and the break up of Communist Parties – for example, British, Italian and French parties, etc.
• Growth of the New Left
• Suez Crisis
• 1950-1956 Red Scare in US.
