A SPECIAL THEME ISSUE OF SOUTHERN CULTURES
Southern Cultures is soliciting articles on the experience of globalization in the American South and the cultural, economic, and social impact of these changes on the region. We are especially interested in discussions of Hispanic immigration to the modern South, but other subjects are also welcome. Essays may emphasize history or contemporary experience. The issue will appear in the Winter 2007-08 issue. The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2007.
