CALL FOR PAPERS - E-MAJ ISSUE 2
e-maj is an online refereed journal affiliated with Melbourne Art Journal. It is dedicated to publishing postgraduate and undergraduate research in art history and museology, as well as reviews of recent exhibitions. The journal aims to provide an international forum for the publication of academic research by emerging scholars in all areas and periods of art history. It is published by the Fine Arts Network.
IMMEDIATE EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST now sought for E-MAJ Issue Two. Undergraduate and postgraduate students of Australian and International Universities are encouraged to submit a 250 word proposal for a 3000-5000 word paper pertaining to any period, area or theme of art history or museology. Submissions are to be emailed as an attached document to the editors (emaj.editors@gmail.com) and accompanied by a brief biographical statement and proposed word length.
Contributions are invited on, but need not be limited to, the followings areas of research:
Classical to Medieval art
Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo
Nineteenth Century and Modernism
Contemporary Australian and International
Asian art
Museology and curatorial practices
Deadline for 250 word proposals is September 30, 2006.
