Seeking proposals for papers for a possible session at the Agricultural History Society annual meeting at Iowa State University in June 2007. The topic of session will be agricultural journalism in mid-nineteenth century Iowa and the Midwest. Writer and editors who dealt not only with politics and economics but also rural development and modernizing farm practices would be subjects for discussion.
