The Southwest Social Sciences Association is holding its 87th Annual Meeting March 14-17, 2007 in Albuquerque, N.M. The European/Asian section welcomes individual papers and/or whole panels from faculty, public historians, graduate students and independent scholars from anywhere in the world. Topics include all fields and periods of European or Asian history. Please submit proposals that include your name, institutional affliation (if any), street address, e-mail, fax or telephone number and a brief abstract (100-200 words) to Judith Fai-Podlipnik by October 20, 2006. Applicants should also consider submitting their work for consideration in the Walter Craddock Prize in European History and/or the Ben Proctor Phi Alpha Theta paper Prize Award for Students.
