Plenaries this year are
"Theorizing Early Modern Masculinity & Maleness"; "Childhood"; "Violence"; and "Pedagogies." Sarah Cohen, an art historian at SUNY Albany, will offer the keynote address, "Showing the Heart: Friendship, Love and Anatomy in Early Modern Portraiture."
Other highlights include an evening of early modern dance and music, and interdisciplinary participatory workshops.
