MERSIN UNIVERSITY, ‘RESEARCH CENTER OF CILICIAN ARCHAEOLOGY’, JOURNAL ‘OLBA’
The Journal ‘Olba’, being published since 1998 by the ‘Research Center of Cilician Archaeology’ of the Mersin University (Turkey), includes original studies done on protohistory, classical archaeology, classical philology (language and culture), ancient history, numismatics and Byzantine history of art.
The studies select their material mostly from Asia Minor but articles (papers) dealing with the Mediterranean area and Near East also form the content of OLBA. Articles are written in Turkish, English or German. An abstract of the article is given and the articles are written according the standards of OLBA.
Articles are sent anytime of the year; after the scientific board evaluates the articles they are being published according to their sequence of arrival.
OLBA is pubished continuesly twice a year and has by now reached the twelfth volume.
OLBA has an editorial board and a scientific board.
