SSPHS (Society for Spanish and Portuguese Historical Studies) and AARHMS (American Academy of Research Historians of Medieval Spain) are sponsoring seven sessions on medieval Iberia at the 42nd International Congress on Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, May 10-13, 2007.
The sessions are:

SSPHS no. 2: Peacemakers, Mediation, and the Idea of Peace in Medieval Iberia (organizer: Anne Marie Wolf, University of Portland)
SSPHS no. 3: Mendicants in Spain: Religion and Reform (organizer: Jessica Boon, Duke University)
SSPHS no. 4: Women's Religious Life in Late Medieval Portugal (Maria de Lurdes Rosa, Universidade Nova de Lisboa) (This session is complete)
