We would appreciate it if you could forward this information to all graduate students who might be interested.
A total 60 Ph.D.candidates participated in the second GSOC and more than half were self-financed. We are accepting applications for financial assistance until Sept 1, the quota available for each area is limited. We would therefore like to encourage students to apply for financial help from their home universities or other sources and we will be happy to provide any documents that might be required in this respect.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting the second GSOC, which was by all accounts a great success. For your reference, the second seminar program is also included on our website.
