Winthrop University, Rock Hill, S.C.,will host the Southern Regional Conference of the American Conference on Irish Studies on March 8-10,2007. The theme of this interdisciplinary conference will be "A Piece of the Irish Dream" although the committee welcomes paper proposals on all aspects of Irish studies.
Please submit a one paper proposal and short c.v. to Marguerite Quintelli-Neary, Dept. of English, 250 Bancroft Hall, Winthrop University, Rock Hill, S.C., 29733 or as an attachment to nearym@winthrop.edu by October 9,2006. Selected conference papers will be published in WORKING PAPERS in IRISH STUDIES published by Winthrop University.
Nuala NiDhomnaill and Fintan O'Toole have provisionally agreed to be guest presenters at this conference.
