The Center for Southeast Asia Studies at the University of California-Berkeley announces a Call For Papers for a graduate student conference focused on Vietnamese Studies to be held February 9 - 11, 2007 at UC Berkeley. The conference is intended to provide an opportunity for young scholars to share their research with the broader Vietnamese Studies graduate student community.
Abstracts (up to 500 words maximum) should be sent to the Center for Southeast Asia Studies at UC Berkeley by Monday, October 8, 2006, via e-mail, fax or regular mail. The Center will send you a confirmation that your abstract has been received by October 16, 2006. Abstracts should include your name, institutional affiliation and full contact information (including e-mail address). Please also indicate whether you are interested in applying for a travel grant. Students whose papers have been selected will be notified by Wednesday, November 1, 2006.
