Beyond Slavery: Overcoming Its Sexual Legacy
A two-day public conference sponsored by the Feminist Sexual Ethics Project
Sponsored by Brandeis University's Feminist Sexual Ethics Project, Beyond Slavery will enable the public to discuss with leading intellectuals and activists how to overcome past slavery's ongoing impact on sexuality. Participants will learn about traditional religious support for slavery, the sexual dynamics of slavery, how religious and other people can complete the abolition of slavery, and how best to move beyond racial stereotypes about sexuality.
