The theme of the 33rd annual conference is "Rivers and Colonies," but papers on all aspects of the French experience overseas will be considered. The Society encourages scholars from all disciplines to send proposals. Consult the web site for the individuals responsable for proposals relating to the Americas, Africa, the Orient etc.
