Join us for a special event presented in partnership with Federal Hall. National Park Ranger Michael Callahan explores the hypothetical voyage of a 74 Gun British ship (HMS Valkyrie) as she sails from Portsmouth, England to New York and back in 1781. Learn about the construction and handling of the ship itself, as well the lives of those sailing aboard her – including the officers, crew, and women and children who joined them. Discover what living, working, and fighting conditions were like as you imagine yourself sailing aboard this 18th-century warship. Free with Museum Admission.
