The Center for Cyprus Studies is organizing the Sixth International Congress on Cyprus Studies at the Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, North Cyprus, on 24-26 October 2007. The aim of the Congress is to open up a discussion platform for the analysis, development, exchange and critique of ideas on Cyprus-related matters.
The Organising Committe will accept papers related to the Cyprus issue in international politics, and other issues related to Cypriot history, archeology, geography, language, literature, education, art, folklore, law, economy, tourism, sports, and alike. Proposals can be submitted either in English or Turkish.
Deadline for submission of proposals is December 15, 2006.
Proposals should include minumum 400, maximum 600 words. Also, a biodata of maximum 100 words should be attached.
