On October 6 and 7, 2006 in Los Alamos, NM, the Atomic Heritage Foundation will be commemorating the restoration of a historic Manhattan Project property.
Our program activities include: guided bus tours through important Manhattan Project properties; commemorating the "V-Site,” where the Trinity device and Fat Man bomb were assembled; reception and gala dinner at Fuller Lodge; symposium with leading Manhattan Project historians, scientists and artists with Pulitzer-prize winning author Richard Rhodes.
The Atomic Heritage Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Washington, DC dedicated to the preservation of the Manhattan Project and the Atomic Age.
