Paper proposals are now being accepted for SOCIOLOGY OF RELIGION: MAINSTREAM AND NEW AGE session of the 2007 Pacific Sociological Association Annual Meeting in Oakland, CA, March 29-April 1, 2007. The session organizer seeks papers from faculty and/or graduate students who are currently involved in research on mainstream and new age religious congregations, fellowships,and communities, and the evolution of beliefs and practices,including Kabbalah. All disciplines are welcome.
Please send an abstract of 200-250 words via email by Oct. 15, 2006 to Linda Yellin at ly303@cs.com. Make sure to include home department and institutional affiliation with your proposal.
The PSA Annual Meeting will be held at the Oakland Marriott City Center.
