The 39th annual conference of the Western Association of Women Historians (WAWH) will be May 4-6, 2007, at the University of San Diego.
The 2007 Call for Papers is now posted on the organizational web site: http://www.wawh.org/
The program committee is soliciting submissions which seeks to emphasize comparisons across national borders and geographic regions, so thematic panels with individual papers located in different geographic contexts, or individual submissions that focus on non-US localesa are welcome. Papers do not necessarily have to focus on women or gender history, although those issues are of special interest to our membership.
Proposals for the 2007 conference are due November 1, 2006.
