Journal of Slavic Military Studies
Those with interests in the military history and affairs of eastern Europe (and not exclusively of Slavic countries) are invited to submit scholarly articles to the Journal of Slavic Military Studies, currently reforming and strengthening its editorial team. Articles will be peer reviewed, with the aim being that material typically be reviewed within a month of submission, and if accepted for publication likely to be published more rapidly than in many more general journals. The length of submissions can vary from research notes of only a couple of thousand words to longer pieces of around 10 000 words in length. The military history of the former GDR comes under the remit of the journal, as do the activities of non-Eastern European powers in the region where the nature of the Eastern European setting is subjected to scrutiny. The journal of Slavic Military Studies reaches a wide audience of both academics and other specialists in both western and eastern Europe, as well as in North America. Material can be submitted to me or any other member of the Editorial Board, the updated membership of which should soon be available at the url provided, at which further information is also available.
