The recently founded Society for the History of Navy Medicine announces its first Annual Meeting and Paper Session, to be held during the annual meeting of the American Association for the History of Medicine in Montreal, 3 - 6 May 2006.
The Society solicits papers concerning any aspect of the history of medicine in the maritime environment (including above and below the surface of water). Graduate student work and other "works-in-progress" are particularly encouraged.
Electronic submission of a 200-250 word abstract is particularly welcomed, though faxed or mailed submissions will be accepted.
