H-Net Announcement International Forum on Educating Troubled Children and Youth: Innovative Approaches, Alternative Settings, and Multidisciplinary Collaboration Resulting in Positive Outcomes

This Forum sponsored by the Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders will focus on critical issues related to providing services to students with challenging behaviors and who may be at-risk for academic, social, and emotional failure. Examples of topics include:

(a) The many faces of troubled children/youth: Addressing Issues Surrounding Cultural, Ethnic, and Linguistic Diversity
(b) Arrest Development: Stemming the Growth of Antisocial Oppositional and Aggressive Behavior Among Troublem Children and Youth
(c) Collaborative Innovations in Serving Troubled Children/Youth
(d) Multidisciplinary Approaches: Focus on Transition and Reintegration, and MUCH MORE.

This 2-day Forum will be held at Tuscany All Suites Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, NV. Forum is scheduled for February 9-10, 2007, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
