The Journal of Illinois History, the scholarly journal on the history of the Prairie State published by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, seeks manuscripts on all facets of the history of the state and its citizens. Contributions in social, political, economic, and cultural history are welcome, as are related midwestern and Civil War topics, the history of the Northwest Territory, and Illinois biography. See our website for further information on submitting manuscripts to our double-blind peer-reviewed journal.
