An intensive and engaging program for newer dharma students who want to lay a solid foundation for their path, and for veteran practitioners who want to take their practice and studies to a deeper level. The program takes place in an environment of interactive teaching, discussion, analytical meditation and debate. This year's topics include:
• Shantarakshita's Madhyamakalankara (Mipham commentary)
• Jamgon Kongtrul's Creation and Completion (for Vajrayana students)
• Mind and Its World: the valid cognition tradition
• The Mahayana Tenets of Mind Only, Buddha Nature and Madhyamaka
• Vasubhandu's Abhidharmakosha

Session 2: July 22 - Aug 5
(New students may attend the first or both sessions)

Fredericton is a beautiful small city in Atlantic Canada, a short flight from Boston. The secluded St. Thomas campus features single rooms with private bath, phone and high speed internet hook-up (doubles are available for couples). Rota at the program is very light.
