This is to announce and issue a call for contributions for a volume titled "The U.S.-Mexico Border: An Encyclopedia of Culture and Politics" to be published by Greenwood Press.

Available topics vary in length from 250 to 1500 words.

Contributors of multiple short entries or longer essays receive a copy of the publication and a modest compensation.

Deadline for contributions is September 15th, 2006.
